I am studying the book of Hebrews for a while and I am impressed with the general theme that Jesus is “better”. It is written to a bunch of supposed/confessing believers who are generally weak in their faith. Sounds a lot like the average Christian today in America. The average person who when their marriage begins to struggle thinks the world has a better way. It just ain’t so. Obedience to Christ is not just better, or even best. It is the only way.
